Nice to meet you
My name is Joey Marchy and I've lived in the Springfield neighborhood for 16 years. Since 2000 I've seen the neighborhood change in many positive ways. I think we still have a lot of room to grow as a community and I'd like to serve on the board to help us grow and learn new things along the way.
I've always been interested in community building and making Jacksonville a better place. My approach to improving the city is to start by improving our neighborhoods.
My vision for Springfield is to become a model for neighborhoods all over Jacksonville and be seen as a progressive community who embraces diversity, walkability, bikeability, affordable housing, art, culture, smart transportation and smart development.
My background is in technology, leadership, community building customer experience and innovation.
